Rusted War Finished & Released

It is with great pleasure that we announce S.S.C: Rusted War has finally, officially launched! Download it for free by selecting "S.S.C: Rusted War" on the main page. Both Rusted War's alpha and beta versions will remain available to download and play as time capsules of the game's progress.

It's been a long road making this game a possibility, with many twists and turns that left the game's future and capabilities uncertain. Finally, the original vision for S.S.C: Rusted War has been achieved and we could not be more proud to see that dream come true. Thank you to all who have in the past or shall in the future support this game, it means a great deal!

In no particular order here are the quality of life adjustments and bug fixes included in this final release. Noteworthy additions are bolded and italicized.

• Removed hardlocks reported in beta version
• Opening plot scrawl now skippable by pressing the SPACE BAR
• Boss dialogue is now skippable during rematches
• Removed GDevelop splash screen
• Various battle backgrounds altered to prevent obscuring reticles
• Doors trigger sound effects when passed through
• Removed dropped item glitch reported in beta version
• Fishing minigame now displays numbers of each fish caught
• Removed disappearing enemy glitch reported in beta version
• Various objects moved for easier traversal
• Lightning+ and Lightning++ items are now properly saved
• Various battles rescaled in difficulty
• Enemies can no longer flip midway through an attack
• Time of day changes as game progresses and ambiance added to concluding scenes
• Hornet troopers' text color altered for easier reading
• New assets present, such as flags and weeds/flowers
• Smoother transitions following final conflicts
• Various dialogue adjustments and spelling corrections
• Minor extraneous adjustments
